A Bastille Day Limerick

There was a young man from Castile

who was there that day at the Bastille

when the Revolution started

and Robespierre farted

and royal Louis’  head was brought to heel.

    Yes, I did because I thought it was appropriate for a wind bag (not to mention brutal despot) like Robespierre- I’m implying that he was full of wind which he was.

    Robespierre- a wind bag and a gas bag! Take your pick! LOL
