People view you with contempt
that’s what really hurts

    Excellent haiku that conveys a million words and great emotion.
    I shared a blog recently about a man who was homeless who became a friend to me. He has not been the only one over the years. He said one of the hardest things was how people ignore you, won’t look you in the eyes, judge you, etc. So sad. 😦
