Queen of The Night: A Gothic Horror Poem

In the woods near New Orleans
Marie Le Soleil Levant
They call her the Queen of the Night
and her fingernails will squeeze you tight

She’ll rip your throat out
without a doubt
though no Masonic secrets you reveal
still she’ll crush you under her heel

Because the only thing she really needs
is the taste of human blood
and your veins and arteries shall outpour a very tasty flood

Midnight black coloured is her skirt
her blouse blood red like the blood you’ll squirt
you’ll die beneath a howling moon
as you leave this life all too soon

So depart this life
in bloodied strife
your throat ripped all to shreds
she may break a nail causing her tears to shed
but over you your body bled
will cause her no tears to shed

In the woods near New Orleans
Marie Le Soleil Levant
They call her the Queen of the Night
and her fingernails will squeeze you tight
