The Disciples of Santa Muerte

Santa Muerte (“Saint Death” or “Holy Death”) is the Patron Saint of drug dealers in Mexico 🇲🇽.

Since the year 2000, the Cult of Santa Muerte has become the fastest growing religion in Mexico.

Although its cult has been formally condemned by the Catholic Church (even though some Vatican cardinals say that Jorge Mario Bergoglio aka Pope Francis is still waiting for the “god of surprises” to reveal to him whether Santa Muerte is good or bad), the cult is still popular among many in Mexico and definitely popular among drug dealers and drug gangs who look to Santa Muerte for protection.

Santa Muerte is considered a female skeletal figure (clad in a long robe and carrying both a scythe and a globe) and is often considered a Catholic-Mesoamerican Aztec syncretism with Mictecacihuatl the Aztec skeletal goddess of death (Mictecacihuatl literally means “Lady of the Dead” and is the Queen of Mictlan- the Underworld in Aztec religion).

Santa Muerte is the antithesis of Mexico’s national patroness and patron saint the Virgin of Guadalupe (in much the same way as the Antichrist will be the antithesis of Christ).

In terms of actual existing supernatural entities, Santa Muerte is a real being.

Although not actually female.

She is Samael the Talmudic archangel of death when he is in touch with his feminine side and dressing in drag.

Samael the angel of death is actually the Satan who is referenced in the Book of Job (and not the Archangel Lucifer who led a rebellion of angels against God -Yahweh Elohim- eons ago).

For at the time of Job, Samael was still a good angel although an accuser and prosecuting attorney against humanity who served in a role equivalent to the combined office of God’s Prime Minister and Attorney-General in the cabinet that was God’s Council of Angels.

Sometime during the life and 1st earthly ministry of Christ, Samael allowed his adversarial prosecutorial accusations against humanity to degenerate into hatred and he became the perpetual Ha-Satan (adversary of God as well as adversary of man now).

This is why Lucifer as noted by some exorcists (such as Malachi Martin for example) and even a few Luciferians and Satanists is considered to be a being of higher ranking in the hierarchy of Hell than Satan (who is Samael the fallen Archangel of Death).

Although Lucifer is always referred to in the Bible as the Devil, the Serpent and the Dragon 🐉, he is only called Satan depending upon the context being used (since Lucifer is definitely an adversary of both God and man).

Samael however is always called Satan and/or the Angel of Death.

In Revelation 20:14, Death (Samael) and Hades (the entity noted by the ancient Greeks as being the god in charge of the Underworld) are thrown into the everlasting Lake of Fire 🔥.

Before that as noted in Revelation 20:10, the Devil (aka Lucifer aka the ancient Serpent aka the Dragon 🐉) had been thrown into the Lake of Burning Sulfur (where the Beast (aka the Antichrist) and the False Prophet (most likely a demon possessed Pope or Antipope) were previously thrown as noted in Revelation 19:20.)

But the Devil (aka Lucifer) is thrown into the Lake of Fire 🔥 ((Rev. 20:10) before Death (aka the Angel of Death aka Samael aka Ha-Satan) as noted in Rev. 20:14.

That is why Saint Paul wrote, “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” (I Corinthians 15:26).

For the Devil (aka Lucifer aka the Serpent aka the Dragon) is thrown into the lake of Fire before Death (aka the Angel of Death aka Samael aka Ha-Satan).

Death is destroyed after the Devil.

Sadly the only Church denomination that still teaches today the early Church teaching that angels had until the 1st Coming of Christ to decide whether they were for or against God (just as humanity has collectively until Christ’s 2nd Coming or in the case of individuals until the moment of their death to decide whether they are for or against God) and then the decision once made is permanent.

When Lucifer and the angels who joined him in rebellion against God eons ago made their decision, they were forever fallen and lost.

When the Watchers assigned to guard humanity decided to lust after and sleep with mortal human women (as noted in Genesis Chapter 6 and the 1st Book of Enoch), they too were forever fallen and lost.

When Samael the Angel of Death who was an angelic prosecuting attorney (hence an adversary or a Satan) changed from just an accuser of humanity to a hater of humanity during the actual 1st earthly ministry of Christ, then he became Ha-Satan (the perpetual adversary of not only man but God) and he fell and became forever lost.

Prior to that as the Satan mentioned in the Book of Job, he had been both God’s Prime-Minister and Attorney-General in the heavenly Council of Angels.

Thanks to most of the Churches not teaching that early Church teaching (with the exception of the Greek Orthodox), numerous misunderstandings and so-called contradictions in the Bible arise.

Like “why was the Devil allowed access to the heavenly council of God?” as mentioned in the Book of Job?

The answer of course is because it wasn’t the Devil (aka Lucifer aka the Serpent aka the Dragon aka the original rebel Archangel), it was Satan (the adversarial prosecuting attorney and accuser of humanity aka Samael aka the Angel of Death who only fell during the time period of Christ’s earthly ministry on Earth and became the Ha-Satan the perpetual adversary of both God and man).

Or why did God appoint demons to watch over humanity and be the Watchers as recorded in the opening chapters of Genesis?

The answer is God didn’t.

The Watchers were originally good angels and only fell after they lusted after and mated with human women.

The trouble is 3 angelic falls- the fall of Lucifer and his angels in an original angelic rebellion against God eons ago and the fall of the Watchers (as recorded in Genesis Chapter 6) and the fall of the angel who was called Satan in the Book of Job (Satan was actually a job title as prosecuting attorney- he was actually the Archangel Samael aka the Angel of Death) who became Ha-Satan during the 1st earthly ministry of Christ- were all looked upon as one and the same angelic fall happening at one and the same chronological time- when in fact they were different angelic falls occurring at different chronological times.

And so Samael aka the Angel of Death aka Ha-Satan (as opposed to the satan called Lucifer and the Devil and the Serpent and the Dragon) wandered through the poor land of Mexico in transgendered angelic drag as Santa Muerte.

As Santa Muerte, he/she chuckled.

Only a total fool would believe that a wall could keep he/she and his/her disciples (the drug pushers and drug cartels) out.

To be continued.

Wow so many fascinating biblical and “angelic” facts! I didn’t know Satan and the Devil is not the same person until I get to read this. So Santa Muerte is gay then? You got me thinking whether we have that cult too and not only in Mexico, considering the worst cases of drug syndicates in the Philippines lol

    • Dracul Van Helsing said,

That’s right, sadly there are a lot of drug syndicates in the Philippines aren’t there?

A friend of mine on Facebook who’s a journalist and lives in the Philippines- her son was shot and killed last year as an innocent bystander in a fight going on between two drug dealers in the apartment building where he lived.

I wonder if Santa Muerte worship is starting to develop in the Philippines.

Gay culture and transgenderism I hear is certainly on the rise in the Philippines as it currently also is in Mexico.

I hear your President Rodrigo Duterte is really launching a violent crackdown on drug dealers.

I also hear President Duterte is also in trouble with the Philippines Conference of Catholic Bishops for calling God “an idiot for allowing free will” in a recent speech he made.

      • Apple Rae said,

Wow I’m impressed how globally knowledgeable you are! Yes that’s so true. Both drugs and lgbt are massive now compared in the past. Sadly, despite the ongoing killings implemented by Duterte, numbers of drug dealers did not decrease and worse yet, there are innocent young people who gets involved (just like the son of your friend, im so sorry to hear that btw) without any evident proof that they are using/selling drugs. Duterte wouldn’t be able to do it this way when the Police themselves are bribed by the drug lords thus they don’t get exposed. Just in where I grew up for example, the authorities knew that there’s a drug syndicate there but they’re too afraid to touch them they just let them do their operation and some of them are even taking drugs on the streets! Smh 🤦🏻‍♀️ i don’t know anymore. And yes he did say that which is absolutely awful 😏

      • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Yes my friend had trouble getting the police in the town where her son was killed to investigate because some of the policemen were on the take by the drug lords and the other policemen were afraid of the drug lords.

Thus the police never arrested her son’s killer.

Her son’s killer finally ended up being shot and killed by other drug dealers.

      • Apple Rae said,

That’s terrible news. So sorry to hear that. 😔

      • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Yes, it is terribly sad news. 😔

We are going to be in San Diego for a week in December and hubby wants to go to Mexico (Tijuana?) to play golf (and stay for the night) at Hotel Real Del Mar. However, I said daughter and I will go to Anaheim instead and enjoy Disneyland. I was chatting with an American family from Orange County on vacation here last week and they said it’s not safe to go especially with a 6-year old daughter. I’m not so sure anymore if taking the cheaper accommodation via RCI is the better option since I’d like to spend a couple of days in LA, then Anaheim, then with family in San Bernardino.

On another issue, how the Philippines now, and how it is now with that current president, is why we would rather be prisoners in our own homes in crime-ridden South Africa. We once considered Philippines as the place to move to, since I’m from there, but not anymore. We just live cautiously and pray a lot for safety here in SA. Hubby wants to move to Texas. He’s still waiting for a job from an employer who’d sponsor him to have a permit.

    • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Yes, I hear Mexico is a really dangerous place these days.

I think Texas is probably safer than South Africa.

I hope your husband is able to get the permit.

      • Anne J. said,

Texas is safer than the safest place in SA, although no place is 100% safe. 😊 Yes, I hope so… States will be much better than here… I think.

      • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Unless the rule of Donald Trump becomes so bad, there’s rioting in the streets but hopefully that won’t happen.

      • Anne J. said,

For now, provided Santa Muerte doesn’t come to Texas to stay, Texas is fine. 😊

      • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Yes, you don’t want Santa Muerte winding up in Texas. 😂

      • Anne J. said,

Imagine that. Gun-carrying Santa Muerte. 😂

      • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Yes I can just picture Santa Muerte wearing cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and wearing a holster with two six shooters in it and walking bull legged down the streets of the West Texas town of El Paso to be engaged in a gun fight at the Not So OK Corral. 😂

      • Anne J. said,

        Great picture! 😄😂

      • Dracul Van Helsing said,

        Thank you very much. 😀😂

    Bible ,Vatican and drug cartels🤔

    • Dracul Van Helsing said,

The Greek word for sorcery in the New Testament Book of Revelation (aka The Apocalypse of Saint John The Divine) is Pharmakeia (from which we get the English word pharmacy).

That’s because the practice of sorcery and witchcraft in the ancient world often involved the taking of drugs.

As for the Vatican in the Bible, both Martin Luther and John Calvin thought that the Whore of Babylon or Mystery Babylon (mentioned in the Book of Revelation) was the Vatican in Rome.

Of course after 4 years of Pope Francis, many traditionalist Roman Catholics are starting to say the same thing about the Vatican.

And actually appearances of the Virgin Mary from Quito Ecuador in 1610 to La Salette France in 1846 to Fatima Portugal in 1917 to Akita Japan in 1973 also say the same thing that one day the Vatican would become Mystery Babylon and the seat of Antichrist.

Which is interesting in lieu of the fact that Protestant fundamentalists who attack Marian apparitions don’t seem to realise that Mary in those appearances is saying the same thing about the Vatican as Luther and Calvin did.

At Quito Ecuador in 1610, Mary said that same day a sect called Freemasonry (which didn’t formally come into existence until 1717) would one day take over the Vatican and the Papacy.

Pope Francis often makes statements that are suspiciously like those of Freeemasonry.

And Pope Francis’ papacy is the first Papacy in history that has been enthusiastically endorsed and approved of by leading Freemasonic leaders around the world.

        Oh my,it’s all o complicated…..that why I keep off religions🤓

      • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Yes, it’s all quite complicated indeed. 🤓

What the Hell! I just read this and figured put God lost control a long time ago. How can the average devotee of religion keep up with all the switcharoo. Angels hating and watchers debauching. Sounds like Heaven is located in Mexico. Mexico can’t be Hell because the Pope says it doesn’t exist. Wait! What? If Hell doesn’t exist then all the fallen angels and their nom de guerres don’t exist either. I’m beginning to see the reasons behind the Pope’s declaration. It saves years of paperwork trying to keep up with all the twists and turns on who is who in Hell which doesn’t exist. I will say that this reads remarkably similar to the Greek, Roman, and Norse pantheons which include a very healthy dose of wine, women, debauchery, and power struggles. This explains why humans are so apt to always turn to Sodom and Gemorrah as ideal standards of city planning and civil activities. We truly are made from the same clay as the angels and watchers. 😕

    • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Yes, Daniel, my friend, this is what happens when God grants humans and angels free will.

It allows for the possibility of evil.

This is why people (like Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte for example) call God an idiot for granting people free will.

Many people wonder why God would give people free will when it would lead to the possibility of evil?

Wouldn’t the universe have been better off and happier if God hadn’t granted his creation free will?

I really had no answer to this question until a few months ago I saw a science-fiction film from 2002 called Equilibrium (that starred Christian Bale).

In that film, a future government elite decides that the real cause of evil in the world is free will (which in terms of non-Calvinistic Catholic and Eastern Orthodox theology is true) so the government eliminates free will in its citizens by getting them to take drugs and medication at certain times during the day.

Anyhow in that excellent film (which I’d most highly recommend) it shows that in the long run, a society where there is no free will will in the long run turn out to be even more evil than a cosmos where there is free will.

And that ultimately in a world where there is no free will, there will turn out to be no true happiness or joy just like there will be no true pain or suffering in a world without free will. One cannot really exist without the other. There is no Yin without Yang. Such is the price of living in a cosmos where the Creator has allowed his creation free will.

And you’re right about how the stories of the Ancient Greek, Roman and Norse pantheons resemble the deeds and conflicts among the fallen angels.

An Evangelical minister called Thomas Horn says much the same thing in his books and writings.

I remember when I was little- for no reason that I could think of at the time- telling my mother that while I believed God the Father and Jesus were the Creators of the Universe and the most powerful of all, I also told her that I believed the Greek, Roman, Norse and Celtic gods really did exist although they had been created (unlike God The Father and Jesus) and were lesser powerful beings than God The Father and Jesus.

It really shocked the Hell out of her (which we now know according to Pope Francis doesn’t exist).

She started complaining to my dad and told him of what I thought and said, “Something is seriously wrong with Christopher”.

My dad looked at her and then looked at me and said, “I’m sure Chris has his reasons which someday he’ll figure out.”

Which shocked the Hell out of her (which again we now know doesn’t exist) even more than my original statement.

After reading Saint Augustine’s mammoth opus The City of God years later, I discovered that he believed the exact same thing about the gods of the ancient pantheons and their relationship to the Fallen Angels and conflicts among them as recorded in the Scriptures.

And I also discovered years later that writers C.S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien believed the same thing.

So alongside Saint Augustine, C.S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien, I figure I’m in good company.

As for free will and all the chaos and sticky mess it leaves in the cosmos (Oh my God, God is no longer in control!), it certainly leaves one possibly longing for a world without free will (as depicted in the world of the 2002 sci-fi film Equilibrium with Christian Bale) but then as Country music singer Garth Brooks might put it in the lyrics of a song, “I’d have missed the pain but then I’d have missed the dance.”

      • Hyperion said,

I do like the idea of a God that would create humankind with free will so he would never have to worry about keeping his imaginary Hell filled to the brim with sinners. Low occupancy often leads to decay due to a lack of human capital to keep it up. In this way, God creates a massive populace of demonic sufferers that will extol his mercies forever until the final judgment where he will again cast them into the lake of fire. It takes a grand sense of humor to do that. I agree totally tho. No yin without yang and no need for a God if there is no suffering.

    • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Here’s the music video to the Garth Brooks song The Dance- the song to which I referred in my last sentence above there:
