A poem about a T-Rex (Tyrannosaurus Rex) I wrote 4 years ago:

Dracul Van Helsing

T-Rex Find: A Poem

It was the most unusual dinosaur bone
a T-Rex with an iPhone
the whimsical carnivore
not wishing to appear a bore
had taken a selfie
like Uncle Alfie
he backed up without looking behind
silly creature with silly mind
and while doing his monologue of schtick and corn
backed right into a triceratops horn
that’s why this T-Rex became extinct before you were born.

My nephew would have loved it! He is fascinated by dinosaurs.

    • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Yes, as a kid, I was absolutely fascinated by dinosaurs.

I was born in the City of Drumheller which is considered the Dinosaur Capital of the World and I thought that was the coolest thing ever.

      • Silent Hour said,

Do you know I’d never heard of Drumheller until now? I just looked it up — wow! I’d be fascinated by dinosaurs too, had I been born there.

I wish I could take nephew there, he’d be delighted!

Thank you for showing me something new. Have a great day!

      • Dracul Van Helsing said,

        You’re very welcome.

I bet your nephew would absolutely love the Royal Tyrrel Museum of Paleontology in Drumheller which has life size mechanical replica models of dinosaurs as well as whole skeletons of dinosaurs. πŸ˜ƒ

    dug it!

    • Dracul Van Helsing said,

I didn’t know it was you who had dug up that famous T-Rex that was one of the 7 wonders of the scientific world, George. πŸ˜ƒ

Was the smart phone still in pretty good shape after millions and millions of years?

funny and rhythmic, T-Rex with an I-phone! My all time favorite movie is Jurassic Park!

    • Dracul Van Helsing said,

      Thanks, Tanya.

I liked that icon of the actor Wayne Knight who played Newman on Seinfeld who kept appearing on the computer screen in the movie and saying, “Unh unh! You didn’t say the magic word!” in the Jurassic Park movir.

      • Tanya said,

Really, I used to find him creepy esp the scene when he falls in the water and is devoured by little dinosaurs! But it remains my favorite movie πŸ™‚

      • Dracul Van Helsing said,

I suppose because I always liked him as Newman that I found that scene so funny.

      • Tanya said,

May be, I freaked out watching that scene but fine actor no doubt count!

      • Dracul Van Helsing said,

Yes, he was a good actor.

      • Tanya said,
