I agree with Kritika, excellent haiku balance. I’ve always liked thunderstorms, they’re so dramatic.

      Thanks, Judy. πŸ˜€

Yes, I’ve always loved thunderstorms and the sense of drama they bring.

I always imagine an intense cosmic battle going on in the sky when I see the lightning flash and hear the thunder roar.

That comes to mind for me too :). I remember the Norse myth that the gods were bowling during thunderstorms πŸ˜„, the lightning bolts are especially fantastic. Growing up on the east coast in the US there were many storms but not so much where I live now in CA, I miss them.

Oh yes, I remember the Norse myth that the gods were bowling during thunderstorms. πŸ˜…

Both Thor and Loki must become really cheesed off when they miss a pin. 😁

Yes, I notice thunderstorms seem to be a rare thing on the West Coast.

I remember when I lived in Vancouver, we’d get a lot of rain but very few thunderstorms.

That’s one thing about being back in a Canadian prairie province like Alberta, we get plenty of thunderstorms. β›ˆ

I always thought that myth was cute, πŸ˜„Strike! I like when it rains while the sun is shining too, that happened on the east coast but not west, lovely sparkling rainbows. I like how the air feels cleaner afterwards. Cool that you live in a thunderstorm climate. Nature is a badass.

        It is. πŸ˜€

Lightning makes mushrooms grow better –

A researcher uses electromagnetic fields/signals to grow extra-limbs, even extra eyes in tadpoles.

Now we know why Dracula enjoys thunderstorms πŸ™‚

Rains are definitely a relief from the sweltering heat!
