You make Haiku seem so easy but I still can’t do it. Profuse bloviation always gets in my way 🙂

It took me a year of reading haikus written by a friend of mine who works as a journalist for the Straits Times in Kuala Kumpur but writes haikus as a hobby before I finally tried writing haikus of my own.
A few years ago my friend John came second in a world wide global haiku writing competition to see who could write the best haiku about the birth of Prince William and Kate’s son Prince George. 🙂

I’ve spent the past 2 months trying to find a job- which hasn’t been successful- since my dad’s inheritance was a mere pittance thanks to the incompetent lawyer handling my father’s Estate and charging exhorbitant legal fees.

Daniel is right on this. You are one who knows how to write haikus.
Excellent, Chris.
Wish you all the best in everything, my friend! 🙂
